Moore Family Law’s Process

How We Provide Support

Your attorney’s role is to be your voice and your advocate during a divorce. This means representing you and your best interests both in and out of the courtroom. At Moore Family Law, our work is based on the principles of caring advice, knowledgeable representation and clear communication.

The process we go through varies widely from client to client. Not every divorce ends up in court. We work with you, your family and other attorneys to obtain an equitable resolution. In some cases, we may even urge you to participate in alternative methods of dispute resolution, such as mediation. We team with experts in the fields of Custody Evaluation, Guardians Ad Litem, Neutral Financial Evaluators, and Real Estate Appraisers.

Here is a brief and very general overview of how we prefer to work with our clients:

The work begins with a brief, in-person consultation. This gives us a chance to get to know one another. This initial consultation is provided free-of-charge, as a way to determine our ability to work together.

If we are comfortable working together, we can begin to plot a course of action designed to address your specific needs, as well as those of your family.

We believe in treating our clients as family and partners. As such, we have developed a number of relationships with a network of professionals who will play key roles and help shape not only the legal proceedings of your case, but also your life. As we get to know you and your family better we will connect you with other experts who we believe can be beneficial in helping you close one phase of your life and begin a brand new one.
